Attendance in school is extremely important. The Government and DfE expects all schools to achieve at least 96.1% attendance for all pupils each academic year, and it is believed that attendance below this has an impact on quality education. This target allows for days of genuine illness and essential appointments, however it does not allow for term-time holidays.
If you need to take a holiday during term time, please speak to Mrs Godfrey our Attendance Officer on 01924 32500. You will be asked to request a holiday using the form below. The form will then be passed to the Head Teacher and may also be considered by Governors.
Please note that term-time holidays will only be authorised in very limited circumstances, but all cases will be considered. Please also note that it is not school policy to provide additional work for pupils to complete while they are on a term-time holiday.
